What a gorgeous place you call home! You are so blessed! I love the sunset photo and those of springtime snow. I'm a little jealous of your snow. I have not seen so much as a flake of the stuff this year and I miss it. They say that this winter here in California was the fourth driest in history and are already warning us to conserve water. A shock to my system since last year there was so much water there was flooding and mud slides everywhere.

Thank you for the comments you left for me. I agree that Jonah is a treasure. He has changed the entire family dynamic and breathed fresh life into every event, holiday and get together. I am so thankful for him.

I am positively thrilled for the opportunity to visit with you all in May and am looking forward to your son's wedding. It makes me glad that such events not only tie two people together but also families. Plus it is going to be fun to travel out with my little nephew and show him off to all of you.

I admire both of your devotional thoughts you've placed here in this blog. It is encouraging to have your example of what seems to me to be a near perfect faith, when my own flounders on the sea of inconsistancies. (and I mean the seeming inconsistancies of principles, not human ones--as I get that we are all human.) I hope to have as much assurance as you both do. It's nice to know it can be done.
